In April 2006 Kim Warchol was presented with a plaque by Tom Taylor, Vice President of Operations for Tandem Rehabilitation that stated:
“In appreciation of your ongoing pursuit to improve the quality of life for those with dementia”.
Kim is most grateful for this recognition and especially grateful for the long standing partnership that Dementia Care Specialists has had with Tandem Rehabilitation and for their commitment to serving persons with dementia.

On October 21, 2006 at the Allen Cognitive Network Symposium, Chris Ebell, Caroline Copeland and Kim Warchol, through Dementia Care Specialists, were recognized by the Allen Cognitive Network for:
“Ongoing advancement through teaching of the Allen Cognitive Model”.
We are very proud and humbled to receive this recognition from Claudia Allen and the other board members. And, we are pleased that we have had the opportunity to educate over 3100 therapists and counting since 1998.
In addition, the Allen Cognitive Network board nominated Kim Warchol to be a member of the board and she accepted. Kim is pleased to be a part of such a necessary organization of leaders who continue to evolve and validate the Allen Cognitive Disabilities theory.
