Each month one of Dementia Care Specialists (DCS) experts will write a new
educational article designed especially for clinicians who are using the Allen
Theory and/or Theory of Retrogenesis for Dementia Therapy. Each article will
contain valuable information to assist with continued skill building and
confidence building. Many of the articles will contain a fun practical
application activity. Your comments or questions about the article or
application experience can be posted during that month in one of our
“Communication Forums”. See a list of our monthly education topics below.

DCS continuously reads the latest dementia research including research related
to identifying causes of dementia, cures, caregiving issues, treatment
intervention strategies, and cognitive and behavior medications. Sifting
through the latest research is very time consuming. We are happy to offer a
monthly column that will summarize research information that you may find of
value as a clinician or information to share with others.
Read Research/News Topics
Often our DCS team is asked our opinion on a dementia related product or
resource. We will feature a column in which we will spotlight a resource or
product each month and share our honest opinion on its value and benefits.
